Almost 3 decades in Orlando are coming to a close.
What a ride it has been.
I am starting a new chapter in the Greenville, SC area, following my passions in media. Before I head out, I wanted to recognize some of the incredible people and projects that defined my time here.
I appreciate Lee Lopez’s creative direction and trust in bringing me on to work on promotions for the Jaguars, Judge Judy, Star Trek, the Magic, and many other great entertainment properties. His leadership has stayed with me throughout my career.
I’d also like to honor the late Barbara Truman. She was a wonderful leader. The principles I learned watching her build great teams and lead with integrity have been invaluable to me. Kelvin, John, and Dale I appreciated being able to work under you as you complemented Barbara’s leadership so well. Emely’s and Ryan’s talent and hard work; they were instrumental in helping the video team forge new ground.
Amy Drew, and the Disney crew: You led with heart, professionalism, and honesty. Working with some of the greatest in the industry to help develop leadership training will always be a fond memory for me.
To Jeff, Tom, Dave, and the rest of the G87 crew: We had an amazing run. The passion shown late into the night meeting broadcast deadlines created great memories. You guys taught me so much about business and how to create an environment where creatives can excel.
To the late Scott Mosteller: The passion you had building a great video team, I still can’t believe the amount of high-quality assets we put out, that’s a testament to the team: Kelly, Jeff, and Joey! And to Mike Young, your creative direction, passion, and grace will always have my respect.
Reflecting on my time here, it’s wild to see how the industry has shifted. When I arrived, Orlando was buzzing with the promise of Hollywood East. We were editing using CMX and 1” reels. While the landscape changed, Orlando has grown into a tourism, technology, and entertainment powerhouse.

Theme Parks: Opening promotions for Animal Kingdom, Disney Quest, Islands of Adventure, Blue Man Group, Harry Potter (Theme Park & Deathly Hallows releases), Tower of Terror.
Sports: 20th Anniversary of Madden NFL, Orlando Magic, Orlando Predators, Orlando Rage, Tampa Bay Rays, FSU, UF, Sun Sports, launching SportsTime Ohio, Daktronics, live-streaming draft shows.
Broadcast: The Ellen Show, TV pilots at All-Star Café, promotions for Motown Café, and promo spots for WWE legends (including Dwayne Johnson, Kurt Angle, Al Snow, and the Big Boss Man).
Education: Developing best practices for video and online courses.
Notable Collaborations: Al Weis, Buddy Dyer, Urban Meyer, Grant Hill, John Hitt, Larry The Cable Guy, Joe Madden, Danny Glover, Dan Newlin, and so many other great people and projects.
One hell of a ride.
